Another of Ken’s great talents: words.

He was a prolific writer and had a particular fondness for anecdotes, word-play, dodgy puns, quotes and the origin of words.

He had a vast vocabulary and loved to link words and music. He used the words almost like musical notes and the music to make a comment, to the extent that he seemed to have created a new language within his broadcasts.
